95.1 FM The Rock and the Cultural Coalition of Chatham/Kent had asked for band-slash-solo artist submissions for a chance to play at the Canada Day festivities in Tecumseh Park. Of all the submissions, only 8 bands (including REDINGER) were chosen to perform this coming July 1st Canada Day at the Rock Indie Show stage next to the Armouries from 1 - 3:30PM. The best performance of the 8, as chosen by a team of judges, will move on to the main stage bandshell later that night to open for the Canada D'eh headliners 'Southwest Blues Revue' and 'Southwest Dirt'.
